Examinations are a vital part of school life and at Dunclug College we strive top prepare our pupils for the challenge these provide and to ensure a smooth path through examination periods whether internal or external.
Relevant information is provided below but if this does not provide sufficient clarity then queries regarding examinations should be directed to either of our Examination Officers.

External Examinations February 2024
Pupils have been provided with an individual copy of their examinations which should be used to plan attendance for each examination and also in planning revision for examinations.
The following are the guidelines for external examinations as laid out by the Joint Council for Qualifications.
Pupils have been provided with a copy of these prior to the examination season.

Timetables for external examinations are always posted home and information posted on the website.
Please ensure the following:-
- check the dates and times of each exam, and make sure you are in the correct place at the correct time.
- mobile phones and other electronic equipment must be left with the school office.
- check your allocated seat number so that you can get quickly get seated and organised to start the exam on time.
- it is your responsibility to bring with you all of the equipment that you require for each exam. You should not assume that the supervisors will provide everything for you.
