Dunclug College Scripture Union is relaunching in September 2021!
SU usually meets afterschool every other week in the 6th form study room and is open to all pupils in Years 8 – 14.
It is a time not only to make new friends and have fun but also to learn more about God’s Word and how to live as a Christian in school. There are opportunities to ask questions and share experiences with each other. Sometimes a special guest will speak to the group or we will find out information about local and overseas missionaries. We remember these missionaries through praying for them and making cards to send to them so they know that we are thinking about them.
Scripture Union also organises special events such as end of year parties or DVD evenings. These are advertised on the school noticeboards and in assembly.
We have a Scripture Union Committee consisting of senior pupils who help to organise or lead each meeting.
