Fit for life
KS3
In Key Stage 3, the pupils undertake athletics, dance (girls), games, gymnastics, health –related PE and swimming, in line with national curriculum requirements.
The emphasis is on experiencing a variety of activities, building skills, developing fitness and having fun in an inclusive environment, where everyone is challenged to develop according to their own level.
KS4
‘’Preparing for life’’ is our school motto and our ethos in PE. KS4 is much more pupil led, where young people are encouraged to select activities in which they wish to specialise or simply undertake the kind of strength and conditioning activities they will experience in a gym or fitness class outside school.
